Farmall Cub Snow Plow.

Hey guys I found a snow plow for sale but the seller said it came off a International Lo boy. All the parts appear to be there but will it fit on a Cub? The plow says Cub 54A on the side.

If it came from an offset Lo-boy then yes it will fit a regular Cub. A regular Cub plow will not work on an off set Loboy.

I have both a Lo-Boy blabe and a Cub 54 blade, I've wondered if using the Lo-Boy hardware would give the blade more lift, but would it still lower enough? Easy enough to try, just never tried. The grandsons and I put the blade on the Cub last fall, but since I got an aftermarket knee installed Nov. 25, Grandma wouldn't let me plow when the snow came in January! Her brother kept the drive plowed with his pickup. I'm blessed to have a great family!

As Barnyard said, the LoBoy version will fit on an F Cub, but not vice versa. I didn't make that clear. It will lift higher and still lower to the ground.
Thanks Bob, I was hoping it would. Its 2 hour drive away from me but that's the closest one I have seen come up for sale.

How do I know if it came off and offset Lo Boy or not. The person selling doesn't know anything except it came off an International Cub.

The one in your pictures is a Cub-154A for a standard Cub, not a Lo-Boy. Maybe he had it on a Lo-Boy (with problems!) or maybe he is wrong about the tractor it was on.

I'm not an expert on the Cub 54 Blade, but his 3rd big picture above says International 54 on the rear of the blade itself.
Below are pictures at TM Tractor Parts of the newer style blade.
The 2nd picture shows the curved part that bolts on the right Touch Control arm, I can't see that it is there in the pictures of the white blade. It could still be bolted on the arm on the Cub.
Look and see if it is there with the rest of the blade, if you buy it, and try to get the curved part if it is there.

The white blades are newer, I think beginning about when they started making yellow and white Cubs, in 1964.

Below is the Cub 54 Blade operator's manual, it shows the parts of the Blade, and how to put it on the Cub.

Not seeing the square spacer blocks either. Probably still in the front mounting socket of the tractor, along with the curved part.

Yea I seen those were missing. I can make a new set. Can make the curved piece aswell if I can get someone who has one to trace on paper and send it to me.
