I was saddened to see this on Facebook. Lyle Garreau "Eugene" passed away today. No other details were given and arrangements will be shared in a few days.
Eugene was a Big contributor to the Forum and Cub Community. He helped me many times over the years and will be missed.
Rest in peace, Eugene!

I am also sorry to hear of Eugene's death as he helped me a lot over the years. Does anyone know where he lived? I probably met him over the years at one of the Cub Bashes.

Thank you for the location information Barnyard. I thought Linn, Missouri may have been his home. And I only live 15 miles from his home. He gave me directions to his house once during one of his help sessions for me over this web site, but somehow I could never find his place. Maybe I should go to the viewing and funeral as a representative of the Farmall Cub Forum?

RIP Eugene and condolences to his family and friends. I only knew him through this forum, but always looked forward to reading his reply’s to questions. We have lost a valuable resource.

Rest in peace, Eugene. Like many others here, I never got to meet him but I valued his input greatly. He had a wealth of wisdom and experience that will be greatly missed by all of us. I as well as many others here was able to learn through my interaction with him here on many occasions. God's speed.

I met him a couple of times when John Puckett and I went by his house on the way to somewhere northwest of Eugene's house in Linn. He will be missed. Prayers to his wife and family and friends.

I, too met Eugene at the same Cub Tug as Barnyard. He posted as recently as 2-3 days ago, so is rather a surprise and unexpected by most of us, I’m sure. He will certainly be missed here on the forum. We send prayers to the family and may he rest in peace.

Peace be with you Eugene. I, like many others, will personally miss your knowledge, wisdom and kindness. My sincere sympathies to your family and friends for their great loss.

Dennis
