Sad news Eugene

I never met Eugene either, but he gave me excellent advice on a couple of non-Cub related projects that saved me a lot of time and money. He certainly seemed to always have a lot going on. Planting walnut and pecan seedlings in his 70s. Had some fixer upper house he was working. I recall some fence project or drainage project he was working on. I think he mentioned a son so it sounds like his projects will carry on. I think he was a teacher or a professor. He really had a lot of useful and practical knowledge and I’ll miss his posts.

rest in peace Eugene--my memory of you ws at Docs many years ago---I assume Doc has left us also cause he hasnt responded--he lived just north of Eugene

I was privileged to meet Lyle (Eugene) along with John Puckett at a Cub Tug when it was a is original location. He was a nice and helpful guy, he forum will miss him greatly.

I think I remember a post that he made some time ago where he made reference to teaching auto mechanics at the high school and trade school level but I can't find it. Stan

So sorry to hear of Eugene’s passing. I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but read a lot of posts by him. A very knowledgeable gentleman. Rest in Peace Eugene. Condolences to his family and friends.
