My 1965 Cub Lo-boy has had a skip in it, seems a bit more noticeable when it has been running for 30 minutes or so. I have good fuel flow, sediment bowl screen and carb inlet screens are clean. Good spark from coil. I have fully loosened the main jet and can wiggle it with a pick but haven't had any luck extracting it from the hole. Is there a trick anyone uses? I don't really want to pull the carb off if I can help it. Thanks.

Sounds to me like your issue may be valves instead of carburetor. Have you checked the valves for proper adjustment?
