Keyed Starter Switch

Just replaced my M starter with the DB Electrical, looks to be great starter at good price. But I just cant find a decent starter switch that last. Any suggestions?

With a keyed switch, you do have it wired with a solenoid, right? I have no brand name for the switches I've used, I pick them up at the flea market, very generic. I've had no problems with starter switches.

I used a switch from Brillman (site sponsor). I needed one with a magento kill, so it has a contact for the magneto that goes to ground when the key is turned off, but they literally have dozens of different types of key switches. Here is my setup:



I added a starter solenoid behind the dash where the push button used to be. I don't have a picture from the back, but below is the picture of the plate I made to go in the starter button hole. The back of the plate has studs on it for a 12v solenoid to bolt to.
