International Cub Lo Boy 1967

At this years Bardyard Bash there was a similar problem with a battery box 4 bolts having very little of the hex heads left but a lot of the rusted bottom of the battery box looking very similar to yours. In the end the removal of the rusted metal around each bolt with a chisel and lots of penetrating oil made the bolts come out with vise grips. It seemed the rusted metal worked like a seal to prevent the thread from getting rusted in the casting.

Yeah those bolts have welded metal on them so I think maybe if hit them with an angle grinder to get that off they may just come out as you said

They have new seat parts, if you need them. The seat pads come in silver or black.
oh perfect i was checking ebay but new is better... tbe seat I have is ok the guy before the previous owner made a seat for it, not identical to original but serviceable.
 
Main issue i have now is the generator seems to not be charging so I'll have to go through that and see why that is.

The voltage regulators on the 6 volt systems have 2 sets of points in them, I think the 12 volt voltage regulator has 2 sets of points also. I don't have a 12 volt one to look at.
The points in the 6 volt ones get burned, or corroded, then the generator won't charge.
You could look at the points in yours, file them if they look burned or corroded.
Wipe off all filings with a clean rag. Sometimes they work, and sometimes they still don't work.
Disconnect the battery ground cable before working on the voltage regulator.
There is a Flow Chart that we use on here, to diagnose problems with the charging system. It is for 6 volt Cubs. I don't know if it is the same as a 12 volt system would use. :)
