hello all from the deep , beatup south . i can only go by the news reports for now , but its really bad . The " eye " of IDA was one mile east of our house when it went by . first time in my lifetime we evacuated ( went to crystal beach in texas) . Our son , two daughters , their spouses , and ten grandkids ( all under the age of ten ) in one beach house :shock: My neighbor said a good size water oak fell across the end of the driveway and powerlines , and later noticed some copper sheets in the backyard ( from the roof over the new bathroom addition , agghhh ) . headed home tomorrow , scared to think of what may lie inside . coppersmythe......................PS: i'll update when i can , looks like we'll all be busy for some time .
