CUBFEST Northeast

I just wanted to update everyone that due to an unforeseen medical issue (not life threatening), I will need to start some treatments over the next few weeks that will prevent Brian and I from attending this year's festivities in Oxford. I will miss the comradery and the exchange of wisdom that you all provide at these events. Have fun and stay safe and I will see you again in 2027!!

Sorry to hear that you won’t be able to make it. Good luck with the treatments.

Update: It will just be me.

Ethan's first homecoming dance was just moved from the 26th to Oct 3 due to the storm we're going to get this weekend.

Another great Cubfest Northeast is in the books. Many thanks to Pris and Cecil for opening their home to us Cub bums. Special thanks to Pris, Fran, Nikki, Terry, Sue, Hope, and anyone else I may have missed, for handling the vittles for the weekend. Looking forward to 2027.

Ditto to what Don said.
I’ll add that it was great to see some old faces when Cecil & Pris were in Vatatie, also several new faces.

Thanks to all who helped with the rear main seal and clutch replacement as well as Dr. Carburetor - Bob McCarty for giving my carb a tuneup.

Eric and I arrived back in Somerset around 6:30 last night after a pleasant drive home. We had a wonderful time visiting. As always, Cecil and Pris made everything go smoothly and made us feel right at home. It was great seeing everyone, hearing all the stories, catching up with old friends, and meeting some new folks as well. When we left yesterday morning, our waitress at Charlie’s Diner gave us our cups and said, “See you next year!” That was a perfect way to end another memorable CubFest. 😊

Not much that I can add to what has already been said. Sue and I had a great time as always and many thanks to Cecil and Pris and all that helped them make this another great Cubfest.
