Hello gentlemen,
How low can my sickle bar extend below the tires? I would like to mow a dam on a small lake.
thanks, Doug

It can drop until the sickle and pitman arm start to bind at the pivot point of the bar. It will start getting noisy before it reaches that point. To allow it to drop any further will risk damaging it.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
