My Cub is a '49 probable made after July of '49 but I think I will get the McCromick Deering ones from Binderbooks anyways.

I've bought both styles of decals as well as many overhaul parts such as rings, seals, and gaskets from Joe Rice... http://www.joesfarmallparts.com/ .
His prices are reasonable and service is fast.
Just another good source from a satisfied customer.

Trent M wrote:I'll throw this in. On a 1948's hood the decal would read McCormick-Deering. If you get them from a place that asks your serial number and gets you the correct ones, like John said, you shouldn't have to worry about it.
Is there any vendor that does the McCormick-Deering decals in the correct font?

I can't quite tell. The ones for the Circle Cub look like they might be. The link takes you to a pic at the WI Archives instead of the actual decal. The McCormick-Deering Farmall Cub decals can't be looked at closer either but I believe they have the wrong font for "McCormick-Deering."

decals
My cub was produced in June of 1949, which I believe puts it in the "McCormick- Deering " category.I am a little unsure though, of where some of the decals are placed on the cub. Most are quite obvious, but a few I question as to where they belong. Is there anyone out there that knows exactly where these all should be placed? any information is appreciated.

That's a nice looking book that's frequently recommended but contains very little useful information. You can use it to confirm that the hood decals belong on the hood on each side. Part numbers for French and Spanish individual decals are given if that's helpful. Save your money!
