Hey how would you like to be a Bruins fan? I was a little kid when I started following the Bruins. Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito and all the other big bad Bruins were my idols. They created such a craze for hockey in Massachusetts that there must have been 100 new rinks built in the 70's.
Notice the number of Boston University and Boston College guys in the NHL? Well the Jacobs family who owns the team got their Stanley Cups and a huge following then stopped spending on the team figuring that what happened in 1969 and 1971 would bring the fans forever. It's really sad that team I once knew everything about doesn't mean too much to me anymore. I wish it was like the old days when Rangers came to town you knew it.

Minnesota Wild fan here. Used to have tickets to the Minnesota North Stars but the Wild are much more fun to follow. Norm Green still sucks for moving the Stars to Dalles. He claimed there was no market for Hockey up here. The Wild have sold out every game in the 6 years that they have been here. It really rocks in the Excell Building when they play. Don

COL AVS ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!! So ya think its that easy just put the puck in the net!!! Try playing the game like I do! Thats if ya can even stand up on the blades! lol. Even harder when your a goalie like I am! And yes it does hurt when ya get hit by the puck! My coach is a 5 time Stanley Cup champ from the late 70's when he was on the NY Rangers.
