ANOTHER BASKET CASE RUNNING SER#9382

Postby KETCHAM » Mon Apr 03, 2006 3:27 am

Got my tractor running that I pulled out of the weeds.Been sitting for 5 years, i guess.Did a valve job, rings, rod bearings and carb rebuilt.Had the mag off 180 degrees.Common mistake I made!Got the rotor in right place and fired right up on half a crank!!!!Still have a lot of work ahead but a least it now runs!Needs tires and 2 rear rims anybody got two decent rear rims in NE Ohio? Not a bad deal for $400.00 dollars + about $250.00 in parts.1947 with a 4 digit ser#9382.Can't wait to get it cleaned up some more and get painted!!!!!!!!!Ketcham
