New parts
Finding some new parts is getting harder and harder. I have a few non runners. I hate to scavenge parts from them Incase someday I want to repair them. Time to stock an inventory of new parts I may need to keep them running. I guess it’s time to strip the skeleton tractors too. Is anyone having a hard time finding parts? Looked at partree for parts a lot of cc stuff is discontinued. Cub cadet Specialties seems to have the best selection. I’m hanging in there keeping these running.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

Re: New parts
It's taking quite a bit of internet searching to find parts for old equipment and the parts are getting expensive.BigBill wrote:Is anyone having a hard time finding parts?
Just obtained a set of brushes for a 23 or 24 year old Milwaukee demolition hammer (jack hammer). $28 and small change for a set of brushes that a few years ago would have cost about $5.00.
Other thing I'm finding is that tractor dealserships have changed ownership. Current owners do not want to handle parts for old machinery.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Re: New parts
I needed a part that no one had but cubcadet specialties. Stuff like mower deck springs, steering stuff, luckily I purchased many kohler pistons std, over size too up to 14 hp and gaskets. I can bore them, do the valves, ect.
