Bill Hudson...looks like you are in the bullseye for this big snow event marching your way.
Sure hope you and everyone else along the track of this storm, are prepared and hunkered down!

Re: Snow plows set up?? Hope so!!
The plow is all mounted (didn't take it off this spring) and I will be installing the chains tomorrow morning. We are close enough and low enough to Lake Erie that the worst of the snow normally falls south and east of us at higher elevations. In the late 80s and early 90s we lived in the area of high snowfall. We moved in October and the following late spring I asked our former neighbor (a USDA weather observer that lived across the road from us) how much snow he had measured for the winter. His response, "169.9 inches." I was raised on the farm just down the road from his place.
Bottom line, I know how to deal with snow, however, that doesn't mean I like it.

Glad that stayed up North. Only got an inch down here. Looking forward to Monday, when we get a little warmup.

Our son Erik is in Watertown, NY...another bullseye for lake effect snow.
As a Blackhawk MediVac Pilot (now PC), he is deemed essential and his 24hour on - 24hour off cycle begins tomorrow morning at 0700. The 10th CAB provides backup to the regional LifeStar/LifeFlight units. He's had some interesting med-flights but if anything comes up on his shift, he's now in charge.

He has had the training and experience to handle that mission well.

My choice for snow removal is the Cadet. Put the blower on yesterday. I haven't put the blade on the cub for several years. Also have a 404 with a bucket but no chains. Even with wheel weights and loaded tires traction leaves a lot to be desired. We have no reason to get out so we'll hunker down until it is over. Vern
