Fast Hitch attachments/ implements

Postby inairam » Sun Jun 30, 2019 9:33 pm

I just picked up a 57 loboy with a fast hitch. This is my first cub with the fast hitch.

I know a lot of attachments are different for the loboy. I understand the hitch is different.

Are the attachments implements for the fast hitch the same for both cubs?

What is different with the flail - just the shaft to the PTO?

Depending on which mower you want to use, you’ll need a different pull bar so the PTO shaft will clear the bar.

I bought my regular cub fast hitch disc from a guy who used it on his loboy for years. He said you needed front weights, it made the front a little light.

The loboy disc harrow when used on a standard cub will hit the tires. Larry Davis aka Buzzard Wing told me that and I tried moving my loboy disc with my long stripe and it surely did hit the tires.

Peter

How do you identify the mower type so you know which one you need?

I could not found the fast hitch manual for the loboy on the site.

Thank you

The mower manuals tell you which pull bar is required.
