Did you ever determine what size opening is in your existing metering jet?

I just wanted to update everyone who was giving me advice on getting my tractor up and running correctly. I broke down and ordered an aftermarket carburetor from amazon installed it and now the tractor runs perfect. Thanks for all the advice I’m still not sure why the original carb would not work even after a rebuild but they new carb works great. For those that are interested I did have to make one modification to the new carburetor the fuel inlet had to be drilled out slightly so the fuel line and ferrule would seat but the threads were correct for the original line fitting. I also adjusted the float to factory specs while I had it apart for drilling out the fuel inlet. Also the choke shaft was slightly smaller than the original so I added a thin shin around the shaft so the choke lever would tighten down. Now I can get the belly mower under it and put it to work
