Yard DUMP CART question

Postby Dale Finch » Sat Jan 18, 2020 11:00 am

I was thinking about getting a small cart to pull behind our farm golf cart, and came across a Strngway brand cart sold by Northern Tool for about $150, and with the $20 off coupon it would be about $130.
https://m.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200641809_200641809?cm_mmc=Google-LIA&utm_source=Google_LIA&utm_medium=Lawn%20%2B%20Garden%20%3E%20Lawn%20%2B%20Garden%20Utility%20Trailers&utm_campaign=Strongway&utm_content=46443&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI34nj2sCN5wIVTP_jBx3ZrA9UEAUYASABEgJNA_D_BwE

I decided to Google it to see if anyone else carried it, and came up with this:
http://www.agratools.com/products/Strongway-Steel-ATV-Trailer-%252d-1%2C200%252dLb.-Capacity%2C-17-Cu.-Ft..html
Around $100 LESS for (supposedly!) the same thing.
Has anyone heard of this company or dealt with them?

(Seems online sellers always use the exact same images and verbatim descriptions for items!)

Even the item number is the same. Typo? Shipping could be a killer.

It's free shipping from wherever? (company shows in Malaysia), 22-24 days.
For FedEx (10-12 days) it's $280!!
Of course, if you need to return it, forget it! Once ordered, consider it non-refundable!

Have you actually gone through to checkout to see if free shipping applies to an international order? Under shipping I see:
"INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
When submitting International orders through AGRA TOOLS Sdn.Bhd you are responsible for all import fees, customs, duties & taxes.

Please see estimated shipping times. Note that estimated shipping times do not include the time it takes to clear customs."

If you get it from Northern Tool, you can definitely do store pickup and get free shipping.

Looks like a good item. Personally, I like to see something like that in person to look it over. You have 3 Northern Tool stores less than 30 miles from your zip code. Go take a look and if you like it, buy it.

I'm partial to Agri-Fab for items like this. They are US made and are carried by Lowes, Home Depot, Rural King, Family Farm and Home, among others. Shop around.

Good point, Jim...I DID proceed to check out, but fkrgot to see if there was another box for "International". The only 2 boxes I saw were the "slow boat" and "fast boat" rates, but I HAD entered my shipping address here in NC. I might have missed it, though.

Also a good point on the Customs, etc., which I had noticed, and not sure what that would cost.

Heck, I guess I'll just take my coupons to Northern Tool, and KNOW what I am getting! Nice exercise this morning, though! Thanks for your input.

The website sounds like a variation of one of these...
