Whether it is at a Cubfest, a tractor show, or right here on the forum, Gary Dotson is a person who strives to help anywhere he can to assist others with tractor problems. His advice is straight on and to the point. You never have to second guess his answers. If you have ever met Gary, you have considered him a friend and mentor.
The 24th annual induction ceremony for The Ohio Military Hall of Fame for Valor Class of 2023 was held today, Friday, May 5, at the Ohio Statehouse Atrium.
I am very happy to say that Gary has been recognized by the state of Ohio and inducted into the this elite group.
This year’s class of 24 honorees included veterans from the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Air Corps, U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Navy. These people served in the following conflicts: Civil War, World War I, World War II, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom. There were eleven posthumous awards in this class.
These remarkable Ohioans have all gone above and beyond the call of duty and performed heroically in specific combat actions against armed enemies of the United States of America. For their actions, members of this Class have received such commendations as the Medal of Honor, Distinguished Service Cross, Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross, the Bronze Star with “V” device, the Commendation Medal with “V” device and Navy Achievement Medal with “V” device.
It is without a doubt that Gary deserves the recognition he received for serving to protect our nation during the time of war.
Congratulations Gary! This is a recognition that is well deserved.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
