Great to hear that you’re recovering at home. I don’t visit this forum as often as I used to, but I’ve always found your contributions were worth reading. Continue to get well Mr. Stanton.

I could not say tractor when I was 2 years old so I called it Err Err.

I loved this tractor then and I still love it now.

Re: I’m Yellow, but Not a Coward -2 Week Surgeon's Follow UP

Postby Stanton » Wed Mar 09, 2022 2:30 pm

Had my 2 week post surgery visit with the surgeon today. He was impressed how well I was doing and still experiencing no pain (never filled the pain meds from the pharmacy and have stopped taking Tylenol as of last Saturday). I still have a 15lb weight lifting limit (hernia risk), but am cleared to drive again (he told Robyn to start me off in a large parking lot to see how I do first). He removed all 27 staples (Ouch!) down my stomach/abdomen and said he wanted a follow up visit in 6 weeks (he also said if I feel good then, just cancel the appointment). :D

Next on the docket is seeing the oncologist on March 31st.

Thank you to all who have been thinking and praying for me. It's effectual. I'm humbled.

:hattip:
