The last time I bought gas (a month ago ) it was $1.39 a gallon, got a buck off with my Kroger rewards. 35 gallons for under $14! Yesterday I saw it was $1.09 and I passed, still having almost half a tank. A dollar off or .09 cents a gallon is insane! As Bill mentioned, it's going up now, $1.45 at that station.

I play the gift card game at Kroger, buying them for stuff I usually buy anyway, getting double and even 4X, the points. Have had a dollar off for as long as I can remember. Only problem, since I retired, and especially lately, have had more than I can use. Daughters appreciate it though

Low price, locally, is $1.01 this morning, local high: @2.49. We were as low as $.97 the other day, haven't seen a lot of increase yet but it's surely coming. Local factories and some other business's will be starting back to work on Monday, people will be driving again. I think I'll go top my truck off today!

NOOOO . Please in no way take anything i posted in a political bent . Strictly an observation on the effect of low prices on oil producing states . Similar to the effect of corn/ethenol market prices in farm communities . If i stepped over a line , i certainly did not intend to , coppersmythe...................PS: i like it here and want to stay

They tell me its still high here ---I havent needed any gas for the garden yet, (using last years yet). needed diesel fuel for the skidloader and I know it's still $2.60 here a while back ---truck still dead, so it has bout a half tank of fuel,--gets great mileage sitting by the shed.
