Craftsman 48 in mower

I am checking for someone else and I don’t know what the model number is.
Are the nuts that hold the blades on left handed or right
Handed thread. This is a riding mower 48 in cut cans about 2 years old.

Mike, I know this is not helpful, but my experience has been that the transmissions in Craftsman riding mowers don’t last long enough for the blades to need replacing.

If the discharge is on the right when you are sitting on the mower they will be right hand threads. that way the blade impacting stuff tightens them rather than loosening

Don, not my mower, I would not have bought it with sears going out to business.

Thanks John. My grand son was trying to change the blades for the women next door to him and he could not get the blades off. Before I tell him to use a cheater pipe I wanted to make sure which threads. He did use pb blaster and liquid wrench.

I use a pneumatic impact wrench to remove mower blade nuts.

Eugene, my grandson came and got my impact wrench and he said that did not do it. Not sure if the compressor he was using had enough pressure or if my gun was not turned up All the way. I was afraid to tell him to use my big cheater pipe. The mower is almost new but I did not want him to mess something up.

I believe mine was right threaded
