will a woods mower off a 56 lo boy fit on a 154

Postby bob » Tue Apr 04, 2023 8:54 am

Hi, Will a woods mower off a 1956 lo boy fit on a numbered low boy. My pulleys on my 154 deck are all shot and replacements are expensive and I found a cub lo boy deck for sale in good shape.

No, they are way different. With enough fab work, you might make it work but a don’t think it would be worth the hassle.

What woods ya referring to? L-59 OR single blade? Just saw a 185 sell with a single blade #44 under it and it looked like the #42 to me but it didnt have enough room to lift off the ground over 2 inches and he had the wrong belt on it.
I put a 59 off a cub on my 185 and they have totally different brackets but IF you have your old brackets,---you can shuffle the parts around and they work fine! ---or mine did! --- check the mounting arms and go from there!--might get lucky!
