Do we get to see a selfie of the smiling hunter holding his prey? ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Re: First Groundhog of the Season
We have problems with red and gray squirrels here in Connecticut. Tree rats is what I call them.

Re: First Groundhog of the Season
No guns or hunting needed with the Paw Patrol in place. I just have to occasionally pick up a corpse.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

I spend a lot of time keeping the population whittled down, so they stay out of the hay fields.

Re: First Groundhog of the Season
If you run out I know where there are a few. I don't like to start trapping until I am at the barn every day. I don't kill them owever. If they dig under my barn they have committed suicide. Vern

They get few and far between by the end of the Summer, but I’ve never, ever run out. ![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

Re: First Groundhog of the Season
Danged rodents at my place climbed onto a wagon to eat my lettuce. We got 20 of them in my garden last year, you'd think the head count woulld be down!
