Sickle mower for super c

Postby Eric85 » Wed Apr 21, 2021 9:22 am

Does anyone know if a sickle mower for a C will fit on a Super C ?
I know of one for sale that's on a C but I have a Super C (without fasthitch).

Does anyone have any good pictures of a Sickle mower hooked up on a Super C ?

Well, I can not say yes or no to your question with certainity, but a super C without a fast hitch is nothing more than a C tractor that has a bigger engine, water pump, taller radiator, and disk brakes!

My guess is that it would fit just fine!

Someone correct me if I am wrong! :)

I'm pretty familiar with the C-21 mower on a C. I've never seen one on a Super C. However, I can't think of anything about it that wouldn't work with a Super C. I haven't been around the C-24 mower much, but think the same can be said. These are both rear mounted mowers that attach with axle clamps.

Agree with all, as long as it has the right clamps it should work since the cable or rod (whichever they have) hook to the front rock shaft the same

I had a fast hitch C-24 and the mower frame essentially slid onto a 3" "platform" between the prongs and was not held by anything other than the slide brackets and of course the breakaway mechanism. It looked like it could easily be converted to the axle clamp style. Mine even had the PTO coming off the back of the drive pulley for a rake or conditioner. I am still kicking myself for selling it.
