I have a new to me 140 that has a foot throttle. The spring is broken and I think the sping clip PN 61085D is missing.

If you have a foot throttle can post a photo of the spring and the clip installed or loose. I can not tell from the parts manual where the clip goes or what looks like so I can fab something.

I think it bolts to the bottom of the platform.

Jim the spring is still attached there. I need to see the other end of the spring.

My guess is the bolts for the battery box but the box was off when I got it.
When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!

As often as not, when a coil spring breaks all that is gone is the hook. Beyond that, I don't have anything specific to the foot throttle.

This is what I ended up doing. It is functional if not correct. Once I had the correct spring the battery box was the only location that made sense. The bag is the part number for the spring.
