I am no expert but I know that the good part of the 90 degree PTO is that it lines your pulley up on the center of the tractor and deck. Research Woods L59 mounting hardware. But the cubs can run the 59 from the left side straight PTO so it should be do-able.

I believe you need the 90º PTO belt drive onto which you install the belt sheave for the mower. Which mounting brackets did your Woods 59 come with? The brackets and mule drive for a Super A will be substantially different than the hardware for a Cub. You can look at the parts diagram on Messicks or German Bliss to see what you need and compare to what you have: https://store.germanbliss.com/woods-l59a-3-ih-100and-44-130and-44-140and-44-aand-44-super-a-undermount-mid-mount-rotary-cutter-mounting-assembly-parts

YUP!! gotta have the 90 degree box drive or it aint gonna work! I have one on a straight A and see no way to drive it like a cub.
Someone might be able to cobble up something to fit, but as to it ever actually working,---very doubtful.
Get all of the right parts to start with and never look back!--You will save yourself a LOT of problems by doing so.
