Which new starter drive for Farmall A 6v Starter?
The bendix drive is sticking to the rear (disengaged position). Otherwise the drive and gear look fine. I've tried cleaning it, deburring it, etc., to no avail. Any other recommendations, or is it time for a new drive assembly? And if so, whaddyall think of this new "improved" style drive? https://www.yesterdaystractors.com/Farm ... 49NEW.html Are they significantly better than the old reliable? If not I will just get the old style- I like OEM style stuff on my old As anyhow.
