Hello everyone,
I grew up in Minnesota and spent a lot of time with my grandpa in NE Iowa. He owned a service station in Plainfield, IA, but his hobby was Farmall tractors. He had 7, hooked them all together, and would pull them through local parades with the M. We spent many summers at tractor shows. Sadly, he sold the farm in 2004 along with all the tractors. I was too young to buy any for myself. He's gone on but I'm trying to continue the tradition with, so far, a 1947 Cub and a 1953 Super C. I've referenced this forum many times before as a guest. I'm glad to be a member now and appreciate all those who contribute to help guys like me.

WELCOME! You are only about an hour from the DSCF (Deep South Cubfest) in Sneads, FL, one of the best cubfests of the year, held each Feb. You should plan on attending, either with or without your tractor. It's a chance to meet fellow forum members, and learn a lot about these tractors, either by working on yours with their assistance, or helping other folks with their tractors/projects.
Many folks, like me, drive MANY hours to attend! Hope to see you next Feb!

Re: New Member from South Georgia
Hello again, I was hoping to attend DSCF and then covid hit and also read that the organizer passed away in 2020. Does anyone know if there are any repair shops in the S Alabama / S Georgia / N Florida region that work on antique Farmalls, or guys who do work on the side? My Super C has been at the shop of an older gentlemen in Bainbridge, GA for 18 months, and I would like to find other options in this region for future repairs and restoration. Thank you!

Hello from LA (lower Alabama). I can't answer your question about repair shops but I will suggest you post the question again on the farmall cub forum. You will probably get a lot more readers and suggestions there. Good luck.
