I recently bought this 1948 Cub. It needs some attention and most of that will take place over the Winter but all in all she runs great. She needs a new battery box and toolbox as well as the light switch converted back to original plus there's a leak at the steering box. It's magneto ignition but converted to a voltage regulator and has the Touch Control hydraulics. I'll try to follow through with updating photos as progress, if any, is made. It came with the left half of a 189 plow set so eventually I'll clean that up and hang it on the back since it apparently was used with this Cub.

I have been notified of the ransom demand by Photobucket and in anticipation of my images disappearing and in order to avoid thread deletion I'm adding in the original photos locally hosted. I hope this is OK.

Re: Larry's 1948 Cub
Almost three and a half months and "Cyrus" is out and about once again. Nothing big but lots and lots of smaller things taken care of like finals pans dropped, cleaned, and refilled; oil & filter change; PTO resealed, repacked, and new tranny oil; new seat mount & seat; battery box; toolbox; front hitch mount; umbrella mount; new headlights; refurbed old combination rear light; restored and mounted L54 blade; replaced light switch with original; redid some wiring including adding a fuse; new gas cap; new rad cap; installed plow depth adjustor; repaired steering box leak, and a few more things. Whew!
Here's the better half and her very first time on a tractor.
