Some Interesting (But Probably Useless) Information
I have been watching the increase in membership for a couple of weeks and wondering if we are growing at a faster pace than in the past. The following table gives the number of days required to gain each additional 100 members, starting at a membership of 1100 and continuing to 1700, the number which we reached today.
FROM -- TO ---------- DAYS
1101---1200 --------- 79
1201---1300 --------- 51
1301---1400--------- 61
1401---1500--------- 41
1501---1600 -------- 46
1601---1700--------- 39
The numbers are somewhat erratic but do indicate an accelerated growth rate.

Shaft..
Tom (Yo's Dad) popped in about a month ago. He is doing well, but they are real busy and he hasn't had any time to play tractor in a while. As things settle up/down for him, he should be back on more regular like..
And as for Calvin, it has been a while hasn't it
Dan, kind of interesting them thar numbers of yours... I was just thinkin on who will be number 1700 and how long will it take us to break 2000

I do remember that Calvin's tractor broke in half. I believe a forum member helped him by providing a torque tube. I think that he had the tractor up for sale at the time he quit posting messages. A very nice fellow. Rudi, if we continue at the current rate we should hit 2,000 by the end of the year. Dan

Jonbron was the first to sign on after Dennis finshed setting it up. If you change your profile to pacific time, you will actually see his date as 2/1. About 70 more of us signed on the first full day (2/2), with about another 100 the rest of the first week. Of course, we were nearly all previously on the old version of the bboard. I don't know if any records of the old board exist. As I recall, it was an open page and didn't require joining. So, such records probably never existed.
Dan, you are probably thinking of Clark Thompson, who also signed on pretty early and is listed a little farther down.
For fun, resort the member list, descending by total posts.

Hello all my Cub Friends
Hello to all my good friends here on the cub board. I apologize for not getting on more often. My good friend Ron Selzer sent me a email today letting me know that a few of you were asking about me. Well I have had a very bad year, Feb 1st my Mom passed away and that about done me in because I have had taken full care of Mom since Dad passed in 1994. My Mom passed away at the house in my arms and the same night my little dog Sissy seen what was going on and she went into a seizure. I had to rush her to the vet and he said some dogs will do this being she and Mom were so close but she's better now. Then my doctor tells me I have crippling rumatoid arthritis in both legs inherited it from my Dad so this year has been a very bad one for me. Some of you know that when I sold the ol cub I purchased one of them Swisher pull mowers, well it was great until the arthritis set in so much that I couldn't pull the rope to start it so it was sold also. Now I have and I know this is a bad word on this forum, but being the dealer is just up the road I have purchased a new John Deere riding tractor to mow. Still have my old cub cadets but they need work that I cant do so they set in the garage. I start them from time to time and even bring the one out for a ride that has the hydramatic trans in it. But for mowing I cant trust them any longer due to some work needed and if I broke down in the field well thats where Id set until someone found me haha. That wouldnt be much fun especially how hot its been this year. Again I want to say to all my cub friends hello and I will try and get on here more often. I see the board has changed since I used to get on here but it wont take me long to learn it.
