Texas here we come!

Postby Barnyard » Wed Mar 26, 2008 9:46 pm

Rosie and I are heading out at about 6:00 AM for the Tumble. We'll stop at Robert Terry's in Benton briefly for a parts pick up then on to Dan England's for a bigger load. Probably find a bunkhouse in Texarkana and rest a spell. Friday morning should have us in Palestine. The rest of the weekend looks like all fun. We're looking forward to meeting many of you. See ya' there!

In the mean time I think the Cubs are safe with this crew watchin' over 'em.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that!

Tumble

Postby ByronB » Thu Mar 27, 2008 9:04 am

I am driving up from the Houston area Friday and am looking forward to meeting everyone. This will be my first event like this and looks like it will be interesting. I acquired my 49 cub last summer from my uncle in Oklahoma and haven't had a chance to do anything with it yet. The bad news is that it needs a lot of work. The good news is that it is all there and missing no parts. Mainly needs an engine rebuild. Anyway, see you guys early Friday afternoon.

Byron

Us old geezers will be nice to her, we are too old to dodge bullets. . That pisto in her left hand looks a lot like my Colt scout I have.

You folks get some good photo's.
Be careful you Midwesterners. Leave the Ticks in the west.
