Picture of my Cub....I hope

I have been a member for about a year now and finally got around to learning how to post a picture of my Cub! I think:?: This picture is when I first had it delivered. The last time a Cub was sitting here on this farm was around 1956, and that Cub was my Dad's (a late 40's model) the only tractor we ever owned. We used that Cub for everything. We had about every attachment that you could get with it. We had a small farm (27 acres) and our main crop was tobacco. We ran the "dickens" out of that cub.

In 1956 my Dad sold the Cub and all of the attachments for $600. If only I could have seen 50 years ahead and realized how much I would have wanted a Cub of my own! Oh well, I now own a Cub of my own--a 1948! :D I have owned it for about a year and a half. Thanks to all you good folks here for helping me work a lot of bugs out of the Cub and learning so much about a FARMALL CUB!

I have it all torn down now and will post another picture when I have it all dressed up!!!!

I'd like to see pictures of it torn down. It will make me feel better to know I have company in the Disassembled Cub Club.

And these pictures will help you remember what it was like when it was apart. It will make the finished Cub even better.

That is a nice working clothes Cub that you got there. Sometimes if only we had a crystal ball huh???? Been there, done that on a few other things, like a 3 Cent Cdn Postage Due sheet that I know I should have bought back in the 70's

The upside is, look at what you saved in storage costs!

Enjoy your Cub.

By the way I took hundreds of pictures when I took my Cub apart, it can help putting it back together.
