Can someone explain why my left and right final drives look different please ? These are on my "new to me" 1975 cub.

Re: Final drive question
The right side is designed to accommodate a planter drive sprocket.

Re: Final drive question
Hi,
Below is a page from the 1955 Cub operator's manual telling about the Seed Plate Drive.
The Longstripe Cub operator's manual that I posted for you before doesn't seem to have the info in it, that I saw.
https://farmallcub.com/rudi_cub/www.cle ... e%2063.jpg
It is the end of the axle sticking out of the cover that you see.
The Seed Plate Drive has an oil seal in the cover.
Below are pics from TM Tractor Parts showing a sprocket on it. The sprocket runs a chain.

It looks like the drawbar might not have all 4 of the tapered head bolts to hold it on the final drives.
I think the right side has one in the pic, the left side has maybe a regular bolt.
Below is a listing at TM Tractor Parts showing the bolts, you can look at the pics.

Re: Final drive question
Thanks. I will be ordering the correct bolts now. Don't want to break anything.
