Welcome to the forum! No. The Cub must be split to access the bearing. Spend some time reading up on related topics, here on the sight. It will help you become more familiar with your Cub.

Re: 1951 cub
Several things to consider:
1. The TOB is made of graphite, which is lubricated by the oils present on grease that is pumped around it via a zerk fitting. So first of all, soak the TOB in oil for a while...maybe at least several days...then pump it full of CHEAP grease, which will break down most easily for better lubrication. (I keep a spare soaking in oil until I need it!)
2. While you have your cub split, check for ANY sign of leaking from the rear engine/crankshaft seal. This would be the time to install a "new" retainer/seal. Check out this post:

3. While split, check clutch condition and the finger heights. All the clutch fingers should be the same height...around 1 1/8"- 1 1/4" from the clutch plate.

4. Make sure you put wedges on both sides between the front axle and the bolster...this will help keep the two halves of the tractor aligned for reattaching them.
Good luck & have fun!

Re: 1951 cub
It can be intimidating to split, but don't let it get you. I just split my narrow front Super C and chewed on it before hand for a long while. A wide front Cub should be manageable...just use the resources, make a plan and git 'er done.
Don't forget the pilot bushing while you are in there.
