Re: Cub rock Shaft
Hi,
I guess you meant that the arms won't move when the engine was running, and the system had the proper amount of fluid in it.
You didn't say if the system had been working and quit, or you rebuilt it, and it won't work.
You shouldn't be able to move the rockshaft arms by hand, it is normal that they won't move by hand.
They have said on here that if you can move them by hand, something is wrong.
They move by hydraulic pressure from the pump.
Something could be wrong, like the bearings that hold the rockshaft being too tight, I've never seen that happen.
Or the bushing where the connecting rod from the piston connects to the rockshaft too tight, or seized from no lube.
Below is a picture from TM Tractor Parts of the front of a Touch Control, the connecting rod and bushing are at the upper left in the pic. The rockshaft is off.

Re: Cub rock Shaft
Not sure if you already tried this or not, but there is a grease point on each bearing where the rockshaft bisects the hydraulic block. Not to be overly simplistic, but could start there?
