Cub shifter lever

Postby dkokai76 » Sun Dec 11, 2022 7:03 pm

Has anyone rebuilt a shifter lever? The shop manual is terrible! My housing is leaking and I do have wear on the housing itself. I have a new housing on the way. Need to know where the o ring goes and how the spring retainers go also. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Dave

Welcome to the forum. See if this "how to" answers your questions. It also includes an upgrade which is good.

Welcome to the forum, Dave! If leaking is your primary concern, it is probably way over full with water from rain and condensation. The how to that Bob pointed out is very good, if rebuilding is needed.
