A funny thing happened on the way to the Forum

I just received my "Free" Fuel cap for my Farmall Cub today. Or maybe I should say my free 11 fuel caps for my Farmall Cub. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box and found 11 small boxes each with a brand new gas cap in them. MY guess is someone opened a new box pulled one cap out then got distracted. They probably asked someone else to "Ship the box I left on the counter." Second person shipped the box not seeing the small single cap box sitting to the side. That is my thought as the box I got had 11 small boxes and one space where another box would have fit.

So now I have 10 extra gas caps. Does anyone need one? If you will pay the shipping I will send one out or if you are local you can just pick one up.

Maybe ball cap trading material since they are free.

Have one on the shelf. Ordered one, received two.

Don't think most folks here would need one or pay shipping on it since they are free?

True the shipping would be too high a price. Well if anyone is local and needs one I have 10 extra.

That's a good deal if you've already got a free one with your S/N#. Don't know if they will send out another. Mine is pretty old and should probably be replaced.

Your probably right. Didn't realize folks would go through gas caps that often though. But I can see filling up with fuel on the trailer getting distracted and not putting it back on and it rolling off on the highway somewhere. Hard to forget it in the field or your yard...you would be looking right at it..unless you put in n back tire or the ground in a tall grass field and didn't see it.

Nice thing offering them up though! :{_}:
