I had to make a couple extensions on the plow but it works,---wont win any beauty contests and my wire welds actually held! lol! ( I despise wire welding!), Gotta get used to it since rods are going to be hard to get.
Anyway the new plow has a 12" bottom and the one I made before only has a 10" and the DB bottom before that was only 6".
Cub dont really have enough power to pull it in my ground but we are doing good considering that the ground got hard this year due to no rain.
In average moist ground it will go great and I have about half of my 4.5 acres plowed so far. I finish harvest and clean the ground then plow up as far as I can.
I did have to hang some weight on the plow to help drive it in the hard ground but in the wetter areas it goes in without weight.
In spring plowing it should be good but I want to fall plow so we struggle thru the best we can.
Didnt get to subsoil this year either but oh well, gotta get the ground turned over.

Looks like you have a nice shine on that plow.
But, why bother? Looks like your Cub was originally a fast-hitch tractor, and fast-hitch plows are plentiful.

Re: Brinley 3-pt. plow on cub.
fsh plows here are non exist and I do NOT want fsh! GOTTA be 3-pt to use my other equipment! The tractor had the standard drawbar when I got it and I made my own 3-pt. for it. WAY handier and lighter plus I dont have all that junk banging around under there draggin up trash! lol!
everybody has their preffs. and what works for them, and mine is 3-pt. on all tractors! lol!
Got about half the fields plowed. picked my half acre of field corn and plowed up that area.
We had snow last night,-- total white out for 10 minutes or so. --- winter is on the way, could be early this year!
