Plowing Out Taters

Postby tractorpoor » Thu Jun 02, 2022 9:36 am

Used my 75 longstripe to plow out some taters this morning. They are kinda small but its been really dry here and the vines are starting to dry up.

Right! Mine went in about the same time southerners are taking there’s out. Better for me though because when we do pull them, most will go into the root cellar for winter food.

Back to the post topic…are you using the fasthitch turning plow or a fasthitch middle buster?
What did you grow, any sweet potatoes?

I've been tempted to "grabble" into a hill or two of mine and check them but I planted them a little late. I expect my dad'll be ready to dig his before long.

The plow used to be a 3 point hitch tater plow. I cut it down some and added the fast hitch to use with the cub

Time to dig then!

Looks like the Cub is working great.

Mother used to sing this.
