How common (or scarce) are original tools for the CUB ?
I wouldn't mind getting a grease gun if they are around ??

Re: cub tools
The Tools and Tool Box shown in the TC-37A Parts Catalog, page 59, show lubricator, spark plug and breaker point gauge, socket wrench with handle, spark plug wrench, and pliers. I'm uncertain if any of these would have the IH stamp on them or not--others probably would know that. If they didn't show the IH logo, then what was supplied was the common tools of the day. If they did have the IH logo, then I'd say they're more scarce that hen's teeth.
I picked up a lubricator some years back at an auction. Lincoln was the early manufacturer and this one I bought was a Lincoln; looks identical to the catalog. I was trying to do what I assume you're doing--fill your Cub tool box with the appropriate tools that would have come with or been available to buyers at the time.
The additional tools/attachments were the muffler, spark arrestor and pneumatic tire pump.

Re: cub tools
I do have the complete set, the tools, all have part # s , and stamped with the ih logo, the spark plug point gap guage is 2 blades, one stamped spark gap.023, the other blade stamped breaker points. The grease guns both part # QA3-803 2 models t handle 5956 and circle handle 5948 both Lincoln, the grease guns fairly easy to find, the others good luck!! Rare at best!!

Thanks for the info about tools having the IH logo. I wasn’t certain, but if forced to guess, would of said yes. Can’t imagine IH issuing or selling anything without their mark on it.
Thanks again!

Can you post a photo of the IH stamp on the grease gun?

Re: cub tools
Wow, that's really a complete kit with the EngineAir! Neat!
I grabbed up one of the grease guns at a local tractor show, but it does not have the IH markings. For three bucks, I couldn't help myself.
