Thought I hit the jackpot!

Bought a 1965 Cub Lo-Boy today!

When talking to the former owner, he told me it had the factory tach.

Well, not that it mattered, because I would have bought it anyhow, but upon a closer inspection once home, it looks like a factory tachometer for the 140.

A real nice guy, and it was a real pleasure talking with him. :)

He had initially called me about 2 years ago, but things in life got in the way and I did not get a chance to pay him a visit, but had his info on the side of the fridge.

The change in the weather got me thinking about him and that tractor, (wonderin if it was still available), but he beat me to it and called me again.

Well, needless to say it is here now.

Funny part was when he asked me if I remembered the price he told me, I said "yes" and repeated the 2 year old price.

He said, yep, but today it is $100 less.
I could not argue with that! :)

Kinda! Lol

But it has some yellow paint over some of it

I figure I will remove the tach and related componets and save them.

They are gold. There are no repops that I have found. I have been looking for a long time. I did get one from TST but it needed to be rebuilt which was not cheap. Make sure you get all of the brackets.
When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!

Looks like 383085r91 to me.

I wonder what it is supposed to say above that?

I can make out a w above the 5.

Interesting whould be how this made it to a 1965 Lo-Boy!
