Re: 1952 Cub arrives in new home.
Almost ready to put this thread to bed!
Spent this weekend on final details of the tractor. The only remaining items are install decals, figure out rear red lights and work light then touch up the paint in a few spots.

Last items done!
Went more function on rear red lights and work light than correct style. All led. Light bar bolted to brackets on battery box. So easy to remove without damage to the tractor.
Added Reese bumper receiver hitch to draw bar.. Bolts spacing fits the draw bar perfectly. No holes drilled in draw bar.

You've done a "bang-up" job on your Cub! Thanks for taking us along for the ride!
Be sure to finish off your thread with pics after you get the decals on. We'll want to see that too!

Are you happy with this splitting stand? Is there anything you would change?
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
Ken, below is a post at the How To section, showing splitting stands, if you didn't see it.
The one in the 5th pic down the page looks handy for moving the rear part of the Cub away from the engine, the stand has a wheel.
viewtopic.php?f=144&t=60737
Be sure to put wood wedges at the front axle pivot when splitting a Cub.

Re: 1952 Cub arrives in new home.
The splitting stands worked ok. I did notice the single side front one put a slight amount of twist on the front end of the tractor. This was even with the front axle blocked. Not a huge issue just something I had to deal with when getting the alignment pins to match up when I rejoined the halves.
