Oil pressure gauge

Ok guys my cub is a 1949 serial no. 96485. What is the correct oil pressure gauge. IH or the one with IH with a C around it.

I believe the gauge with the IH with C around it was only for 1947.

Hi,
Our 1949 Cub was older than yours, and had the oil gauge with the IH on it. It looked like the original, but we bought the Cub used.
Below is the listing at TM Tractor for their oil gauge of that style.
There are dates in the listing. :)

The dates in the listing refer to the parts manuals it could be found in. Not necessarily the year of the tractor it was used on. I’m sure the ‘47 Cub was listed in all of those parts manuals.
