Yes, but just barely. Play it safe and go with an 18 footer with brakes and a tandem axle.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

I have hauled 2 Cubs on our 18 foot trailer, and had decent room, and never felt like I was living on the edge.

However, years ago, Dad and I used to go to a lot of shows. We hauled behind my new at the time, 2007 Ford Super duty, with my 130, up front, and his cub on the back. No implements, or any thing on the tractors except draw bars..
We used the same 18 foot trailer, and while it worked ok, I always wished we had a little bigger trailer.

Would love to have a low to the ground goose neck, about 24 feet long, and get rid if the bumper pull trailer.
About any one will borrow a trailer, but may not be experienced enough to use it. I think most people who have a truck that can pull a goose neck, will know how to properly load it, and pull it with a large enough truck to do so safely.
Two guys borrowed my bumper pull, and both brought it back damaged to some degree..

I have hauled 2 on a 16 footer!

Plus assorted cub implements!
All strategically placed so I did not have to make two trips

I would stay with a 18-20 footer to be safe.
Just my 2$. Good luck.

You’d have to be a real good friend, to borrow one of my trailers, Ranger! And yes, Dusty, I too recommend 18 - 20 ft. As suggested above.

Good golly, Jeff! I know inflation has gotten bad, but $2.00? I can remember when your opinion was only worth 2 cents! :hattip:

I'd think 2 would fit on a 16. You can cock the tractors too which would give a bit more room.

You can squeeze two on a 16 foot trailer, but it makes for a tight load. I hauled two on my 20 foot trailer to the bash and had just enough room between them, and for some roadside tools that I felt comfortable hauling them that far. I wouldn't want to go a long distance with a 16-footer. And even with a heavier truck I would want the trailer to have working brakes on at least one of the two axels. We went without trailer brakes for years, and having them again I wouldn't want to go back to being without.

I guess the big question is......

Is Dusty asking because he has a 16' trailer!

Or is he asking because he is interested in buying a trailer!

You know...... If you was to get creative and loaded the cubs on sideways, you could fit 3 on a 16' deck :)

Three sideways on a 16-foot trailer pretty well requires a deck-over trailer. I have hauled one crosswise on the front with a second endwise behind it on a 16' car hauler. That way, the second one can have an implement attached to the back.

Hmmm...why does this sound familiar.

Yep, it sure does.

I believe Dusty downsized a few years back to a 10 or 12 foot trailer.

I was sure I had a picture of the load you have in mind. In a quick look, I didn't find it.
