I broke the zerk on the rear axle of my '51 Cub--by the PTO. It is not threaded. Where can I buy a replacement?
Thanks,
George Holden

Any auto parts store should have, or can get, one. Take the old one with you, both pieces.

get a zek kit with the tool. the tool lets you tap the hole.

Hi,
The grease fitting is on the PTO housing, which bolts to the transmission housing.

Like Don said, go visit Napa for a press fit like you had.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: broken grease zerk on rear axle
you may find the hole is worn out for the press fitting from the factory and new one may not fit , it can be tapped to 1/4 28 and use the 1/4-28 fitting

Note that the threads on a threaded grease fitting are tapered pipe threads.

I could not say tractor when I was 2 years old so I called it Err Err.
