Looking up the tracking info on packages sent and sent for everything is late, way late. One was sent out 3 day priority eleven days ago and it’s still not here. :(
On a whim I looked this up...
https://stamps.custhelp.com/app/answers ... e-delivery
Apparently you can request a refund if priority mail is delivered late.

Yep a refund on shipping. Not your item.

If you’ve got insurance you can collect on that if it’s lost. It’s annoying if you pay for 3 days and it arrives late. I’ll give them a couple days late but when it takes 2 weeks and you wasted money on priority ... :x

A couple months ago I had a part coming via UPS. For me UPS and the Post Office are the most reliable. The tracking showed delivery that day so I hung around waiting for it since I wanted to get my customer up and running ASAP. The truck pulled up, I walked out to find the poor driver frantically searching for it. It was never loaded on the truck and he told me that was the second package that day! I've been there myself so I told him it wasn't a problem, there was nothing he could do at that point. I ordered chili seasoning from Amazon Dec. 7, picking free shipping. Tracking shows it shipped yesterday, delivery tomorrow! Two weeks ago I ordered a unit heater fan motor from a warehouse in Indiana, UPS had it here in about 28 hours. Anymore it seems like shipping is a crap shoot. MERRY CHRISTMAS

You have to watch amazon sometimes . It will allow you to buy it but below the item when your looking it may say something like instock January 15th. So it will sell it but it won't ship till it's in stock maybe two weeks away. Sometimes the item comes in before the date and it will ship when it arrives

Great. Was it the shipment from 12/2 or the replacements from last week? Could have been either one at this point.

It was the replacements. I’m sure the original shipment is somewhere in the abyss.

Adding my tale of woe on shipping: I have a few Cub parts outstanding in the mail now that I ordered, but nothing like the old (vintage is a nicer word) two Farmall H Corn Planter Axle Drive Sprockets I sold a guy in Ohio. Did the sale on December 5th and shipped them to him on the 7th. They are still not there - TWO weeks and counting...

A second "tracer" goes out tomorrow.

Well, that latest Amazon order ( that was shipped, email sent with delivery date and all that) we suddenly got an email that they issued us a refund. No explanation, just that a refund was issued. Now, 2 weeks later, the hunt begins again!

I've had the same thing happen with Amazon. Its their policy I understand that if it isn't shipped within a certain time or delivered within a certain time. Amazon cancels the order. The part I ordered was just reordered by myself and received several days later. Although that does not work all the time. I tend not to read everything, you know I'm working on something and want to get it done have to stop and order part. I've found it pays to read most everything. Unavailable, out of stock, size not available etc. are the ones that catch me. If it says its available reorder if not check back and when it is reorder. Be nice if they told you this ahead of time.

Not everything you see for sale on Amazon, actually comes from Amazon. Many of those items are listed by Amazon for third party vendors, most of whom don’t stock anything. The actual item is drop shipped from the factory or yet another vendor. It pays to read everything. Buyer beware.

That was the case for the part I was ordering. It just took 5 more days to get it. Part was a nozzle for my furnace oil burner. Had to have it. Pellet stove took up slack.
