You have an Agri-supply near Florence, SC. If You've never been its worth the trip. A lot of things to look at for tractors and the farm. I go to the one in Petersburg, Va. every so often spend about 4 hours there. My wife thought I was crazy, so I took her, I had to get her to leave. Petersburg is a 100 mile trip for me but its worth it. 1918 E Palmetto St, Florence, SC Have fun!
P.S. I thought we had farm supply's around here nice ones. I thought till I visited Agri-supply. No comparison.

Re: 6 volt battery
Our local Rural King doesn't seem to stock as many batteries as they used to. There are usually pallets of batteries sitting in the isles while the shelves are relatively bare. They must have cut back on store help. When I recently needed a battery for my pick-up, I had to settle for an alternate. It's still my go to place for batteries, though. I wonder if you can do the "order on line, pick up at the store" deal.

I wish I had a Rural King near me. Cheapest I could find one was from Batteries and Bulbs. Was $74 before tax and fees.

Oh yea, I love Agrisupply. There is one in Statesboro too. I pass through there some for work and stop in. Also just built one in Monroe NC close to my farm in SC. They have tons of stuff and great prices. Their battery prices are just the same as TSC so no battery deals there.

Yes and this would ensure the correct application.

Re: 6 volt battery
Jinxed myself, talking about batteries! The battery in my wife's car took a dive yesterday. The local Rural King had no battery that would fit. Checked with another, about 40 miles away, they had one, although lower cold cranking rating than the A.C. Delco I removed. So, since we needed some other things from R.K. we made the trip. While I would rather have had the higher cranking amps of the 78-75, I settled for the 78-60. They seem to be big on the dual post batteries, these days, and that was ok in my pick-up, but the Trail Blazer SS has a brace over top of the battery, as well as a battery cover, ducted to outside air to cool the battery. The top posts would have presented a problem. But at least, I got a battery!

Well that's a good price. Another store I have never seen. This one I have never heard of either.

Re: 6 volt battery
They are really changing over the years to match their clientele. When I was much younger if you went there on a rainy day every farmer in the county was there as well. Now they quit carrying Cub oil filters- 6v battery's cant be far behind....
