Temporary gas tank
I'm going to need a gas tank for my cub while I have the hood off to figure out why it won't start. Any quick fixes?

Re: Temporary gas tank
Many people use old lawn mower tanks (I have an old round one from a Clinton engine). If you do a search for "Pony tank" you should see a lot of examples.
Good luck,
Good luck,

I use an outboard motor tank with syphon bulb and long hose. Place the tank on the tractor set.dgrapes59 wrote:Many people use old lawn mower tanks (I have an old round one from a Clinton engine). If you do a search for "Pony tank" you should see a lot of examples.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Re: Temporary gas tank
what ever you do make sure it is big enough.
I bought a small one (less than a qt) and am NOT happy with it.
2 qts should be the minimum IMHO
find pictures of a real nice one here..

Kind looks like this one ...

not a huge fan of amazon. You can find the same tank cheaper elsewhere but they get you on shipping.
