Mike, it burned for 3 or 4 days. There were many, many large earth moving equipment tires in the building since that was his specialty. Also, because of many barrels of chemicals stored inside and the close proximity of a creek that feeds the Great Miami River, the fire department and EPA decided it was safer to let everything go into the air rather than let water run off from the hoses mixed with chemicals contaminate the creek.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Thought so. Ever try to put out a tire fire with water? It just flares up. Have to use foam and that’s toxic as well.
We had a gasoline truck crash and blow on s highway near me. With neighboring streams they thought it best to let that burn off rather than risk an large scale spill.
It burned out several acres of woods looking like a war zone.

I recently purchased these Carlisle tires from Walmart, and they were made in the USA.

At the time I purchased them, they were $135 per tire. It was a deal. They are nice tires.

For what it is worth, the late Cubs evidently came with 23 degree tread.
