Omaha dealership

Postby trekrider69 » Fri Jan 17, 2020 2:35 pm

I'm sanding the hood of my 1947 Cub and found the remains of the dealer decal. Someone pulled some of the decal off and then applied paint to smooth over the area. I could see the form of some letters under the paint.
What I found was "NEBRASKA TRACTION ?????" and underneath was "OMAHA NEB"
I have a picture, but even in the small mode, it is to big to send.
I've searched the internet, but can't come up with any dealership by that name.
Anyone have any information on old dealerships?
Thanks,
Gene

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Looks like that one should be 4115 South 90th St. 415 appears to be in a residential area while 4115 is now a Kumatsu dealer.

Yep, that was a typo on my part. I made the correction above. Thanks, Jim.

Barnyard, I did a little more sanding and washed it with water and I believe it is TRACTOR and not TRACTION. The part of the decal that is missing starts just past the T. Thanks for the information.
